Windsor Brass

Formed in 2002, Excelsior "Windsor Brass" has had a rapid rise to fame. For many months, a faithful, dedicated and loyal membership of any number between 5 and 15 players turned up to the weekly rehearsal. Led by Howard Taylor, Windsor Brass found the strength to compete in the D Grade event at the State Championships, June 2003. From here on in there was no turning back!

Now a credible band in its own right, Windsor Brass was regraded to C Grade mid way through 2004, and then to B Grade late in 2004 due to the quality of its contesting performances.

Windsor Brass is unique in that the ages of players vary from students to retirees.

......a relaxed and happy group, who also manage to create great music in the process!!
