Matthew awarded scholarship

Matthew McGeachin is this years recipient of the Victoria Chalmers Education Award.

Matthew, current National Bass Trombone Champion and member of Brisbane Excelsior, was awarded the $2500 scholarship at the presentation ceremony at the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium, Sunday 19 November, 2006.

From Townsville, Matthew has just completed his first year of study at the Queensland Conservatorium.
