Brisbane Excelsior Band Inc successful in obtaining Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant

The Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $29,000 to Brisbane Excelsior Band Inc for the purchase of percussion instruments.

Obtained in November 2008, the grant will help ensure Brisbane Excelsior has percussion equipment of the standard required to ensure that the band continues to meet its ever improving high standards. Instruments to be purchased are Marimba, Xylophone, Tubular Bell and Gong.

This grant shows the continued support received from the Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund following a previously successful grant in 2006.
