The Passing of our Patron, Dr Dan O'Donnell

The Brisbane Excelsior Band Inc. regretfully advise that our long serving Patron and supporter, Dr Dan O'Donnell, passed away earlier this week.

Dr O'Donnell unfortunately lost his battle with cancer - one which he had fought strongly for a couple of years.

He has been a strong supporter of the band for many years, and is the author and publisher of the History of Brisbane Excelsior book - 1912 to 1995.

Dr O'Donnell will be sadly missed, and is survived by his wife, Marion, and daughter, Jenny.

There will be a funeral service, Thursday 3 April, 11am at the Uniting Church, corner Rode Road and Gympie Road, Brisbane.
