As Brisbane Excelsior Band celebrates 100 years of music making, we invite you to join us for a special concert marking our historic milestone. Under the baton of Howard Taylor, the band will perform a collection of works reflecting on major world events that have provided the backdrop to the band's wonderful history. Joined by Windsor Brass and special guest soloist Professor David King, this will truly be an experience not to be missed.

It is with great sadness that Windsor Brass and Brisbane Excelsior Band note the sudden and unexpected passing of David Denlay on the 4th of May 2012. 

Dave has been a long standing, well respected life member and player in both bands for many many years and his generous, no nonsense, larger than life character will be sorely missed. 

As he was travelling in the USA at the time, funeral proceedings will be announced once he has returned home.
