A 'cheeky' fast march, this was the band's winning stage march selection for the 2010 Australian National Champions in Hobart and an instant favourite.

Queen of the Night

Mozart's Queen of the Night Aria from his opera The Magic Flute, was a great success, loved for the dexterity and virtuosic singing required by the coloratura soprano.

This is a lovely arrangement that earned the band contest success on several occasions, including the 2007 New Zealand National Championships.

An American Tale

This fun yet challenging work is a compilation of somoe of America's favourite folk songs and is one the band enjoyed greatly.

Be Still in the Presence of the Lord

Arranged by Louisa Smith (Flugel) this is a lovely, quartet-based setting of this simple hymn chorus.

Calling Cornwall

The piece depcts the waking and gradual gathering pace as day evolves in the great county of Cornwall.

Song of Hope

The former Brighouse legend is back in his third solo appearance on an Excelsior CD with this beautiful extension of the theme from the composers own test 'Glasshouse sketches'.

The Children of Sanchez

This arrangement of world renowned jazz flugelist Chuck Mangione's standard, here performed sensationally by Louisa Smith, our fabulous solo 'lassie', is a testing work.  The band is sure you'll agree that she pulls it off with aplomb.

Just a Closer Walk

This tradtional Dixieland inspired work has been in the band's folders forever and is a constant crowd favourite and request.

Ashley Gittins' own arrangement of a long-time favourite of Salvationists the world over is presented here for the first time.
